Dear students in this article we will discuss about syllabus and strategy to clear ugc net English literature.So lets us first clear all our doubts regarding pattern and syllabus.
NTA conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) for students to make them eligible for lectureship in colleges and Universities all across India.
The NTA UGC-NET is conducted in the months October/November once in a year.
1. Candidates with 55% marks in Master’s Degree from universities/institutions recognised by UGC.
For OBC/SC/ST/PH eligibility is 50% marks for this Test.
2. Candidates whose result is still awaited may also apply.
3. Candidates should appear in the subject of their post graduation only.
The Test consists of Two objective type papers.

STEP II: Candidates who obtains above mentioned marks are included for the preparation of final merit list. This list is prepared subject wise and category wise.
STEP III: Only Top 6% candidates (for each subject and category), out of prepared merit list will be declared NET qualified. A separate merit list is prepared for the award of JRF amongst the NET qualified candidates.
In the end for revision student can follow Arihant book for paper 1,2,3. These are the basic books for preparation of this exam. They are not the end. But if you are looking for a right direction this will help you.
